Alan writing on his photography blog entitled Magherally Lens questions why he wants to share images and links to the following video explaining in under ten minutes that Vivian Maier (1926-2009), an exceptional photographer, made photographs for the joy of making them and not to accumulate likes or wealth.
I would add that sharing photos can also lead to new meaningful human connections far beyond the collection of likes. Sadly, often that doesn’t happen. You can only get so much just by clicking a heart. But when it does happen, it can be special.
