Madeleine Albright’s Georgetown Home Sold at Big Premium

Madeleine Albright (1937-2022) served as United States Secretary of State from 1997 to 2001 and United States Ambassador to the United Nations from 1993 to 1997. In 1968, she purchased a four-bedroom townhouse in Georgetown with her ex-husband for around $100,000. The 4,000 square-foot house, which was built in 1853 sold in 2023 for $4,450,000. The sales price was $450,000 above the asking price.
