The National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC is exhibiting some 25 portraits Gordon Parks (1912-2006) made between 1941 and 1970. This one room exhibition includes some of his best known photographs – boxer Muhammad Ali and conductor Leonard Bernstein. The images are powerful.
The exhibition is on view through January 12, 2025 in the National Gallery’s West Building, Ground Floor — Gallery G22.
